Ludovic SCRED
Born in Paris in 1984, Scred started graffiti in 1998. After his first years practising illegal graffiti, he explored cities in search of abandoned sites and unusual locations to paint murals and experiment with styles away from the public eye. He deconstructs letters and develops a personal graphic language. His style is defined by a mix of colourful lettering and graphic shapes, blending rigour and spontaneity.
Between 2007 and 2015, he created a “rolling gallery” by painting over 150 Parisian trucks, and subverted brand logos by adapting them to his artist name. In parallel, he participated in group exhibitions in France and abroad, notably in Stockholm, Papeete, as well as the Mister Freeze exhibition in Toulouse. His works also joined private collections.
In 2015, he was invited to the Ono’u Urban Art Festival in Tahiti, where he participated in a competition with the biggest street artists on the globe. M6 followed him to make a report on this event.
In the art market, Scred has been featured in several auctions, including Damien Leclerc, Cosette de Rothschild, and Drouot Paris and Lyon, confirming the recognition of his work.
In 2013, he co-founded Street Designers, a production company specialising in creative events, street art and murals.
Less active on the personal scene, today he puts his expertise to the service of collective projects: artistic curation, organisation of brand events, artist support and the creation of murals.
