Forget traditional seminars: it's time for a Original activity where street art reigns supreme.

The graffiti team building invites your collaborators to step into the shoes of street artists and, together, create a collective mural. Guided by our passionate and professional graffiti and street artists, participants learn to use spray cans, play with shapes and colours, and work on gradients and lettering. A truly fun and unconventional animation experience.

The objective? To create a meaningful fresco as a team, reflecting your ideas. This artistic project is not just decorative: it is a powerful way to strengthen cohesion, to stimulate communication and to leave an unforgettable memory for all participants.

The passionate artists of Street Designers organise since 2006 Graffiti team-building activities adapted to your events, tailor-made workshops led by seasoned urban artists, capable of transmitting expertise while fostering a real team dynamic.

When we invented this team-building activity 20 years ago, our idea was to create a bridge between the taboo world of graffiti and street artists and the corporate world. We were the first to offer this type of activity in France, long before it was copied. Our promise is simple: artistic excellence., meticulous logistics, transmission and authentic artists. The rest can be read in the participants' smiles, the final communal fresco and our Google notes. Mission accomplished.

This animation starts with an initiation phase. Guided by an experienced street artist, During the workshop, participants discover the basic techniques of graffiti: how to hold a spray can, draw a thin line, create a gradient, and add volume. Each person experiments on our training surface, gains confidence in their movements, and then contributes to the collective project.

We offer Lettering battles in order to put into practice what was taught in the initiation stage. This allows for team coordination and communication. The idea here is to agree on the word to be graffitied, on its form and on the colour scheme of the graffiti.

Next, it's about creating together a Mural on canvases, in connection with the company's values, name or history. The teams coordinate, exchange, test, and adjust. The framework becomes a common canvas, where everyone adds their touch. And in the end, this collaboration transforms into a concrete, collective work, which you can exhibit in your premises.

We are proposing a version without a temporary wall and without a canvas in order to accommodate a smaller budget. The creation process remains the same but takes place on walls in various locations in Paris suitable for this practice. Why choose graffiti as a team-building activity?

Because it allows you to break free from the norm and have fun in an unconventional way. Street art, by its free and accessible nature, fosters spontaneity and free expression, even for the most reserved. There's nothing more enjoyable than wielding a spray can.

There's no right or wrong technique, no aesthetic judgement. What matters is the intention, the momentum, the desire to do things together and to laugh together.

This form of artistic expression quickly creates common ground. It encourages cooperation, cohesion, and the sharing of ideas. Far from professional jargon, everyone finds a more direct, more instinctive language. And often, those who thought they couldn't draw develop a taste for the act, dare to use shapes, and experiment with colours. They are often the ones who leave feeling the most surprised and the proudest.

Street art and graffiti team building is also an excellent tool for instilling new perspectives within an organisation. It breaks down usual hierarchies, values initiative and opens up a space where improvisation becomes a strength.

Where and how does the team-building workshop take place?

The activity can be organised at your premises, at an event venue or outdoors, according to your preferences.. We regularly operate in Paris, Lyon, Grenoble, Lille, Bordeaux, as well as throughout France and Europe. We also have partnerships with venues that allow for outdoor graffiti workshops or those protected from the weather.

The bombs used are water-based, odourless, solvent-free, and perfectly suited for indoor use. We provide floor protection, overalls, and gloves., the art supplies and we will guide the workshop from start to finish. Everything is planned to make the experience immersive and seamless, regardless of the number of participants.

We adapt our formats to small teams as well as large groups, from 10 to 300 people, and more if needed. We adapt our sessions to all formats. Bespoke introductions like for Mattel up to giant graffiti murals for over 250 participants with Plasseraud IP

How long does the team-building workshop last and what happens afterwards?

Group of people present in four graffiti canvases from the Mattel universe.

A graffiti team-building activity lasts an average of 2 hours. This time allows for the integration of a proper creative phase, without rushing. If you wish, we can extend the activity for up to 2.5 hours to go further in the creation or to include more in-depth discussions with your group's artist coach.

The final works are created on canvas, allowing you to keep and display them. The activity can be adapted for walls in our various spaces dedicated to graffiti and is authorised by the Paris Town Hall.

Is this team building accessible to everyone?

Yes. No artistic skill is required. The role of our supervising artists is precisely to put everyone at ease, to guide without imposing, and to create a flexible environment in which everyone can express themselves. The workshop is also accessible to people with reduced mobility, and can be adapted into several languages (French, English, Spanish).

The only exception is that as a precautionary measure, we do not recommend this activity for pregnant women, even though the products used are eco-friendly.

What are the tangible benefits for your team?

Graffiti activity in the workplace stimulates teamwork in a different way. It strengthens cohesion, develops collective creativity, and encourages a form of non-verbal communication, often absent from daily professional life. Similarly, it helps to break down internal barriers, encourages initiative, and reveals talents you might not necessarily imagine.

But more importantly, it creates a strong shared memory. A moment that stays. A mural on canvases that tells a story, that is displayed. And often, a visible before-and-after in the group's dynamic.

How to organise a bespoke graffiti team building event?

At Street Designers, we never deliver the same service twice. We imagine and create activities based on your needs, the group, and the objectives. Our coach-artists adapt. In all cases, we advise you on the format, the message and the theme. We also take care of all the equipment, logistics, protection and on-site coordination. In short, you have nothing to plan, we accompany you at every step.
