For its annual evening, marking the reunion of Group employees Somfy, one of the world’s leading companies in the field of motorisation, automation and the installation of connected devices for high-tech homes, the company decided to think big with a hip-hop-themed celebration. Among other things, it commissioned the creative agency Street Designers to have its graffiti artists create a Live street art performance.

The event, which took place at Terminal 7 on the rooftop of the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles exhibition centre, featured a programme that heavily showcased urban cultures. In a warm setting, guests were able to enjoy a stage performance by the group Les Tambours du Bronx, a breakdancing show, a juggling demonstration by a footballer, and also a live show by the artists. Scarred, Hédi Baka and Check, affiliated with Street Designers.

To represent its core business, the company asked street artists to ensure their creations coincided with the brand's offerings. The trio then cleverly designed three sketches focused on the connected world, roller shutters, and the home of tomorrow, so that the produced works would align with the theme.

The challenge of this artistic performance lay in the feat of completing these three canvases in just 40 minutes on stage, in front of customers enjoying their dessert.

This live painting practice is a real trend today due to the enthusiasm generated by watching artists create their canvases in front of an audience. Somfy was able to leave with three splendid street art works to proudly install in their premises.

If you also wish to have a mural that reflects your values or to have a well-known graffiti artist perform a live show at your event, there's only one thing to do.
