Walter Berns

Walter, also known as Berns, is an urban artist of Peruvian origin whose vibrant style is rooted in a rich and colourful multicultural heritage.

Introduced to graffiti in the 90s in Lima, he contributed to the Peruvian graffiti scene before moving to New Zealand to study, where he refined his typographic style.

Having been based in France since 2003, he explores new techniques in his studio, undertaking collaborations and exhibitions worldwide. His style blends mystical animals and colourful typography, reflecting a unique and dynamic figurative aesthetic.
