Stéphane OPERA
Stéphane OPÉRA is a French painter based in Paris. He began in traditional graffiti in 1998 under the name STARONE and was passionate about painting complex lettering, known as «wild style,» for nearly ten years.
He also began a more artistic approach to mural design, closer to his profession as a designer and his daily inspirations. He then chose to paint under the name OPÉRA from 2006 and to focus his work on a more graphic and geometric approach. He drew inspiration from artists such as Vasarely, Lissitzky, and Kandinsky. Constructivism, retro-futurism, and the Bauhaus school greatly inspired him.
His graphic universe leads him to collaborate on various cultural and musical projects (Hocus Pocus, C2C, Stalwart Records) but also corporate ones (Adidas, Engie, Eurosport, Canal+).
