Team Building Pop Art and Graffiti for Qonto Employees

Following last year's pandemic upheavals, the company Qonto, a specialist in financial services for small and very small businesses, as well as for independent entrepreneurs, decided to think big for its seminar at Chalet on the Daumesnil Islands.

Indeed, for this reunion, the financial advisory service decided to privatise the chalet and the garden of this idyllic venue in Vincennes to offer a day of ten collaborative workshops to its 300 employees. Among the offerings, which included an escape game and 'Olympiads', the artists from the creative event agency Street Designers, mandated for the event, deployed two team-building activities a few metres apart to raise participants' awareness of artistic practice.

On the one hand, street artists Luxury and Scarred from the Street Designers team have proposed a Pop Art workshop. This team building initially served to instruct participants on this artistic movement, and in particular on the colossal work of Keith Haring, a figure of the movement in the seventies and eighties. Once they had become experts on the subject, they were asked to to reflect on the elements that form their company's identity. From there, they are divided into two teams who must then set about creating two canvases each, in which the values defended by the company will be symbolically represented while imitating the American artist's style. Once the composition is finished, the Presentation to the other team through a speech aiming to explain their intrinsic message.

On the other hand, the graffiti artists Berns and Jet ran a Team building street art. After being aware of the characteristic methods of graffiti, the collaborators were divided into four teams that warmly challenged each other in «battles» on the freely available ephemeral walls. After sufficient practice, their mission revolved around the creation of six canvases focused on the word Qonto, with the logo represented on the final medium.
