Create a life-size cardboard table football game, then install it on your premises or donate it to a charity: this is the challenge set by the Babyfoot DIY workshop, a fun, hands-on and collective activity, designed for companies that want to think outside the box without taking themselves too seriously.

In concrete terms, teams assemble, decorate, and use their own table football for a mini-tournament. This joyful moment becomes a shared memory that will resurface, long after the event, during an impromptu game near the coffee machine.

Why offer a DIY Foosball table workshop to your teams?

Through the construction of a table football, and in just 2.5 hours, participants create a useful and collective object from a simple material: cardboard. The aim is not to play the engineer or to engage in a speed competition. It’s about listening, dividing tasks, taking initiative, and building together.

And the final object is something symbolic and decorated with meaning. It tells what the group produced, together. And it continues to live on, within the company or elsewhere.

If you wish to explore other collaborative manufacturing formats for cardboard furniture, Our DIY furniture workshop allows for the creation of custom tables, seating or countertops according to your objectives.

How does the activity unfold?

The activity takes place in three stages. It all begins with a quick brief, team formation, and the distribution of assembly kits. Each kit contains all the necessary parts to build a life-sized cardboard table football game. The assembly plan is precise, but it requires a degree of organisation. No tools are needed; everything is designed to be assembled by hand.

Once the object has been assembled, it's time for customisation. Acrylic markers, odourless spray paints, and stencils are provided so that each team can express themselves. Customisation indeed allows for the expression of a style, a wink, a graphic play. There is no good or bad taste, only ideas to explore.

The final part involves testing the table football tables… by playing. A tournament is organised, with votes for the boldest and most original design, the most robust construction, or the funniest team. And this moment of play tips the activity into a festive, spontaneous, light-hearted energy.

Who is leading this workshop?

Our artists and facilitators at Street Designers support the groups throughout the activity. Our mission is to guide without doing the work for them, help overcome difficulties, encourage creativity, and foster a sense of collective energy. They are fully familiar with the set-up process, know where the pitfalls lie, and remain attentive to each group’s needs.

They also install the equipment, organise the space, manage the time, and orchestrate the final tournament. Their practical experience allows them to adapt the workshop according to the profiles, number of participants, and the event venue.

Where to organise a DIY foosball table workshop?

The workshop can be organised anywhere in France or elsewhere. It can be held at your premises, at an external site, or at an event venue.

This animation is available for groups of 10 to over 200 people, with an adaptable format (2 to 3 hours) depending on your constraints.

What happens to the table football tables after the workshop?

Several options are available to you:

  • Install table football in your common areas: break room, reception, corridor, patio.
  • Reward winning teams by letting them keep their creations
  • Offer the remaining table football tables to a charity or school of your choice

During large-scale events and for logistical reasons, only a few table footballs can be kept. The others are donated to partner associations or to public institutions: community centres, hospitals, schools, social centres.

What is the connection with eco-responsibility and CSR?

The table football is made from recycled cardboard, sourced from short supply chains in the Île-de-France region. All materials used are solvent-free, durable, and designed to limit the environmental impact of the workshop. No power tools, no unnecessary transport, no plastic waste. This format allows for raising awareness without guilt, by valuing a simple and accessible material.

It's also a way to offer a useful activity that leaves an object behind. The company keeps a homemade table football or offers it to an organisation that will benefit from it.

How much does the workshop cost?

The price depends on the number of participants, the location of the workshop, and the number of table footballs to be made.

For guidance, the workshop starts at around €1500 (excluding VAT) for a small group. A precise quote will be provided based on your needs.
