Street Designers X Hermès: Bespoke Recycl’Art
As part of an internal company team seminar Hermès, a designer recognised worldwide for his luxury clothing and accessories, we were approached by the agency Wide Trip for Unfold an artistic animation that blends CSR, reuse, and painting.
In this regard, We have created a bespoke artistic team building event on this occasion, in the vein of our workshops Recycl'Art. The idea, which the client immediately loved, was to design the famous Hermès square using recycled materials mixed with paint. We have thus mixed our consumables with offcuts of Hermès squares supplied by the client. It was agreed, however, that we would incorporate the following values into the visual: «team spirit», «know-how», «sense of service», «spirit of innovation», «freedom and autonomy», «responsibility» and above all «astonishment», which is the word of the year for the brand.
She's our art coach. Jérémy Luks, a renowned graffiti artist on the Parisian street art scene, who was responsible to bring the ten participants to design this original work within the Moulin de la Forge.
On site, the street artist first asked the team members present to to reflect on the values cited above in order to imagine the design of the work. Following this successful brainstorming session, we moved on to selecting materials and assembling the elements of the fresco, then painting it. Once everything was completed, we asked them to debrief on the activity and took the opportunity to take some group photos.
The result is the product of a unique collaboration between the Hermès team and Jérémy Luks from the Street Designers team.
