Monumental fresco at ESSCA with 360 students

ESSCA, a prestigious business school, approached us to organise an event in which its students would customise three 30-square-metre walls at its Boulogne-Billancourt campus. For this colossal mural project, our main task was to oversee the 360 participants throughout the process to ensure the artwork was completed successfully.

Street Designers X ESSCA: A collaborative mural for the school’s students

ESSCA, prestigious business school, wanted to approach us to lead its students to to customise three walls of 30 square metres located in the Boulogne-Billancourt premises. For this design mural colossal, the mission mainly involved supervision the 360 participants on the procedure to ensure the successful completion of the work.

In this sense, we sent four of our talented street artists there. Check, Jérémy Luks, Jet and Dack we initially mocked up the project, integrating the values, the colour scheme, and other elements desired by the client to give them a tangible idea of the planned illustrations.

Once the mock-ups were approved, the artist coaches took charge on-site to divide the many participants into small groups so that they can work in 30-minute sessions every 2 hours over 3 full days. We wanted to involve students as much as possible in the preliminary stages essential for the creation of this fresco, such as site preparation, protection of the floor, walls and ceiling.

When the preparations have finally been completed, The volunteers took care of drawing the sketch in chalk. before attempting to create this fresco on one wall a day. At the end of the third day, the inauguration took place amidst the din of applause and cheers that greeted this collective work.
